The Municipality of Panay braces as it prepares for the celebration of Lingga-anay 2012 Festival – the socio-civic fiesta of the municipality. This year’s theme is SYNERGY OF NATURE AND CULTURE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. This is to highlight the need to harmonize culture and nature and to establish a synergy of the municipality’s efforts not only to preserve its cultural heritage but also to conserve and develop its natural resources for posterity. This is also aimed at inculcating in the minds and of the Pan-ayanon to make conservation of the environment a way of life.
